Honest, transparent
pricing.
We charge families directly. We accept no fees, commissions, or referrals from any care provider. That independence is non-negotiable, and it's why families trust our advice.
Our work falls into three types. Most clients use a combination, starting with one and adding others as the situation evolves.
Advisory session
A focused conversation to give you clarity. We assess your situation, talk through the realistic options, explain the costs involved, and tell you honestly what we'd recommend. You leave with a clear understanding of what you're dealing with and what to do next.
Best for families who:
- Want professional input before making decisions
- Need to understand options and costs
- Are planning ahead and not yet in crisis
- Want a second opinion on advice they've been given
Care arrangement
We take on the entire process, from first call to placement. We assess the care needs, research and shortlist providers, make the calls, arrange visits, negotiate fees, handle the paperwork, manage the transition, and stay with you through the first weeks.
Best for families who:
- Need care arranged but don't know where to start
- Are facing a hospital discharge with limited time
- Want one person to take responsibility for the whole process
- Don't have time to navigate the system themselves
Ongoing coordination
After the initial arrangement, many families keep us as their care coordinator on a monthly basis. For the questions, the changes, the new situations, and the peace of mind of having one person who knows everything.
Best for families who:
- Want continuity after the initial placement
- Are managing care from a distance
- Expect the situation to evolve
- Want a single point of contact for anything care-related
What's always included
- A dedicated advisor, same person throughout
- Independent advice with no provider bias
- Clear pricing agreed before any work begins
- Same-day response to urgent situations
- Complete confidentiality
- No long-term contracts
What our fees don't cover
We are advisors and coordinators. Some things are deliberately outside what we do:
The cost of care itself
Care home fees, home care fees, live-in care fees. These are paid directly to providers. We help you understand and access these costs but we don't charge for them.
Legal services
Power of attorney, wills, trusts. We work alongside your solicitor.
Financial advice
Investments, pensions, equity release. We work alongside your financial adviser.
Direct provision of care
We are not a care agency. We don't employ carers.
We help you find the right people for these where you don't have them.
A note on the wider cost of care
UK care is expensive. Average residential care home fees are around £1,300 per week. Nursing home fees are higher. Live-in care typically costs £1,200 to £1,800 per week. Even part-time home care often runs at £25 to £35 per hour.
For most families, the cost of getting these decisions wrong far exceeds the cost of getting them right. Choosing the wrong care home means a disruptive move six months later. Missing eligibility for NHS Continuing Healthcare can cost tens of thousands. Self-funding when you could have been entitled to local authority support compounds quickly.
We help families avoid these mistakes. The financial value of getting it right almost always exceeds our fees, often by a significant margin.
A free first conversation
The first 30-minute call is always free and carries no obligation. Tell us what you're facing. We'll tell you honestly how we can help and what it would cost. If we can't help, we'll tell you that too, and point you toward someone who can.
